How often should I replace the Twisters?

Jessica Marin Updated by Jessica Marin

Given that the Twister™ is made from durable, UV- and water-resistant silicone and is designed with safety in mind, it’s built to withstand the typical wear and tear associated with horse riding. However, due to its exposure to environmental factors like temperature fluctuations, micro vibrations, water, dust, and other elements, regular inspections are recommended to ensure it remains in optimal condition.

We recommend replacing the Twisters approximately every 12 to 18 months as a general guideline. However, this can vary depending on the frequency of use and the specific conditions you ride in.

If you notice any signs of wear, such as cracks, loss of elasticity, or if the Twister does not securely snap back into place after a fall, it’s best to replace it sooner. Regularly checking your Twisters will help maintain maximum safety and performance during your rides.
