During the development of the magnetic safety stirrups, we worked with riders and trainers to find the best possible placement for our magnets and thus, make it ideal for most users. The magnet is placed below the ball of the foot - for the perfect balance and flexibility. It's the position most trainers recommend as well.

During riding, you will have the ability to rotate your foot slightly, but you cannot move forwards or backwards much.

If you are used to riding in a different position (foot further into the stirrup or further back) and don't want to try and adapt, please reach out to us. We offer additional positions for many sizes.
